Get to know me

Experienced Cross-Functional Communications Strategist

Need help with moving prospects through the sales funnel, converting them to customers, and retaining them through effective product adoption strategies? This is where I can help your business. I'm one-part marketer and one-part technical writer whose blended experience in both functions of marketing and product engineering sides of businesses, holistic understanding of pre-sales and after-sales stages, and relevant education gives me an edge. It's easier for me to identify gaps and offer a unified product communications strategy to prevent a fragmented handoff which often occurs between product engineering and marketing departments.

Who I Am

I'm a writer, visual storyteller, and strategist at heart whose communications career has entailed working in marketing roles where I performed strategic and tactical tasks for pre-sales campaign efforts. I've also worked on the technical communications side of companies in technical writer and UX writer roles where I created explanatory content like user guides, how-to videos, etc., to guide product users and developed product/feature adoption strategies as part of the after-sales support process.


My Edge

Industry knowledge that I've gained from working in different technology industry sectors (i.e., B2B software, telecommunications, and consumer electronics) combined with my blended communications experience, holistic understanding of pre and after-sales stages, and relevant education, gives me an edge. Because I've worked on both sides (marketing and engineering) of a company, it's easier for me to identify gaps and offer you a unified product communications strategy to prevent a fragmented handoff that often occurs between marketing and product engineering departments. 


I understand the necessary methods to execute B2B and B2C marketing campaigns that must move prospects through the sales funnel and convert them to customers. I also have the know-how to develop and execute product/feature adoption strategies to prevent customer frustration if they have to call a Helpdesk, increase the use of underutilized software features/functions that customers may not realize exists, and keep customers happy to prevent negative reviews and high churn.

  • Master of Arts degree candidate (in progress and near the finish line), Communications with a concentration in New Media & Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Southern New Hampshire University
  • Attended NCCU, majored in English with a Journalism concentration and completed the concentration
