Are you looking for an experienced communication professional who has worked cross-functionally and collaboratively with marketing and engineering departments in technology companies? Here I am. My blended communications experience where I've worked in lead technical writer and marketing roles for over 15 years, understanding of before and after-sales stages of a product release, and relevant education gives me an edge.
The experience I gained working in engineering and marketing departments of technology companies has enabled me to 1) identify and break down silos that can occur between both departments early in the product launch lifecycle and 2) offer a unified communications and launch strategy to meet the needs of prospects and customers.

I'm a communication strategist, one-part marketer, and one-part technical writer whose communications career in the technology industry has entailed working in marketing roles where I performed strategic and tactical tasks for pre-sales campaign efforts. I've also worked on the technical communications side of companies in technical writer and UX/UI writer roles where I created explanatory content like user guides, how-to videos, etc., to guide product users and developed product/feature adoption strategies as part of the after-sales support process.

The exposure I gained from working on both sides (i.e., marketing and engineering) of technology companies has made it easier for me to identify and prevent silos that can occur between the two departments and execute a unified communications strategy to accomplish business goals.
I understand the necessary methods to execute B2B and B2C marketing campaigns that must move prospects through the sales funnel and convert them to customers. I also have the know-how to develop and execute product/feature adoption strategies to prevent customer frustration if they have to call a Helpdesk, increase the use of underutilized software features/functions that customers may not realize exists, and keep customers happy to prevent negative reviews and high churn.
